Aqueous film-forming foam concentrates (also called light water foam concentrates) is made up of hydrocarbon surface active agent, fluocarbon surface active agent, auxiliary agent, stabilizing agent, antifreeze agent, etc. It is a highly efficient foam extinguishing agent, which forms a protecting film on oil surface to inhibit the evaporation of oil and relies on the double action of foam and protecting film. It is characterized with high efficiency in fire extinguishing, excellent performance in preventing after burning and long time storage. The extinguishing agent is mixed with water in the proportion of 3:97 or 6:94. It can foam in low multiplying foam production equipment for extinguishing fire of oils. It may also be used together with powder extinguishing agent, and may also be used to extinguishing fire of oil storage cans in the manner of subsurface injection. It is widely used in oil field, refinery, oil depot, ships, ports, airports, machine warehouse, etc.The extinguishing agent shall be sealed and kept at a cool¡¢ dry and well-ventilated place with the ambient temperature between -5¡æ~40¡æ. The storage period is between 8 ~ 10 years.
